Job Title: Social Media Manager

We are looking for a highly energetic and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for creating exciting new content and social media campaigns/strategies, including budget planning, content ideation and keeping the entire team in the loop implementing schedules. It is key that our socials are always up to trend ensuring that we keep our brand consistent. Those with a good understanding of Nutrition, fitness and wellbeing will give candidates the cutting edge.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
• Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
• Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms efficiently and within deadlines
• Create engaging content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms
• Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote Food4Thoughts and our brand,
• Forming key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
• Undertake audience research
• Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Facebook insights
• Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
• Analyse competitor activity
• Recommend improvements to increase performance
• Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
• Manage and motivate your team
• Manage a budget for social media activities
• Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company (in-house roles)
• Encourage collaboration across teams and departments

Essential Requirements

• Experience in planning and implementation of paid social media campaigns
• Proven experience of managing social media channels
• Knowledge and use of social platforms including Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, Twitter, Twitter Insights, Linkedin & TikTok
• Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform as mentioned above such as effective storyline techniques and powerful tweets.
• Basic Photoshop skills
• Leadership qualities to lead and motivate a team
• Creativity to contribute new and innovative ideas
• Excellent teamwork, collaboration and networking skills
• Organisational skills, must be able to prioritise work and manage multiple projects at one time
• An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
• Motivation and commitment

• Experience of utilising Social media listening tools
• Budget management
• Knowledge and use of Google Analytic
